Mike Perrone, Patrick McGrady, Eric Daxon, Greg Johnson, Chris Gannon, Mike Simon, Joe Fleckenstein, Christina Trotta, Scott DeLong, Ryan Pridgeon, Mark Novak, Carol MacCubbin and Sharon Beam.

MIKE PERRONE JR
Mike works as an accountant and runs an all-volunteer Saturday soup kitchen and food pantry.

Will you publicly oppose any new legislation that restricts Second Amendment rights or gun ownership rights?
Yes.

Will you publically oppose Maryland’s “Rain Tax” and support all Party efforts to repeal it?
Yes.

Do you believe that taxpayer money should be used to fund public/private partnerships?
No.

Do you think Harford County’s use of “conditional loans” as described in Bill 12-29 is a good or bad policy?
Bad policy.

Will you hold Republican officials accountable for stances taken that are out of line with those of the National Republican Platform?
That depends on what the National Platform is at any point in time, but I would hold Republican officials accountable for stances that are an affront to the basic principles of liberty.

Will you commit to attending each Central Committee meeting except in situations of personal emergencies?
Yes – in the event that I am not elected to County Council. If I am, I will do my best, and if I am not able to, will voluntarily relinquish my seat.

Will you pledge to spend time each week on Central Committee duties including but not limited to visiting residents of Harford County, phone banking, fundraising, planning events, registering voters, and other activities as called upon by the Central Committee Chairperson and Sub-Committee heads?
Yes – in the event that I am not elected to County Council. With the exceptions of phone banking and fundraising. Asking people for money is not my cup of tea… I’m doing it for my Council run because I have to and there is a definite end date to it, but I would not commit to fundraising on an ongoing basis. So any activity other than phone calling or soliciting money would be fine.

How many hours do you estimate you’ll be able to volunteer to the RCC each week?
I would estimate three on average; more than likely in clumps. In the event that I am not elected to County Council.

Will you write a minimum of one Party Position piece each quarter, a total of four articles a year, to be submitted to the Chair for approval and possibly used in local newspapers, online blogs and the Harford County Central Committee website?
Yes.

Will you lead or serve in a minimum of one Sub-Committee, including but not limited to the Communications Committee, Precincts Organization Committee, Finance Committee, and Voter Registration Committee?
Yes.

Will you adhere to Robert’s Rules of Order regarding meeting protocol?
Yes.
Are you already familiar with Robert’s Rules?
Somewhat.

Will you personally attend 75% of the spring and fall Republican Conventions, realizing there may be substantial costs involved to you such as travel and hotel expenses?
Yes.

Should your commitment to the Central Committee visibly wane, will you voluntarily relinquish your seat so that an active replacement can be found?
Yes.

100% Yes

Will you publicly oppose Maryland’s “Rain Tax” and support all Party efforts to repeal it?

No. I believe in free market capitalism in which there is zero government influence and relationship in the public/private sector.

Do you think Harford County’s use of “conditional loans” as described in Bill 12-29 is a good or bad policy?
I believe that 12-29 is bad policy. The Harford County government should be promoting a free market economy. Essentially what this bill creates is the same type of system that is being used on a Federal level nation wide which is abused by legislators and is primarily responsible for the economic issues America faces today.

Will you hold Republican officials accountable for stances taken that are out of line with those of the National Republican Platform?
